Founder Professor Wang Guofeng is currently the director of the Department of Materials Processing Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, executive director of the International Advisory Committee on Superplasticity of Advanced Materials, and deputy director of the Superplasticity Committee of the Plastic Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering. He has served as the main person in charge of many key national defense projects and won the second prize of the National Technological Invention in 2020.
The company's technical team mainly comes from the superplastic team of Harbin Institute of Technology. Relying on Harbin Institute of Technology and the National Key Laboratory of Metal Precision Hot Processing, it has very strong independent research and development capabilities.
Main business: Provide overall solutions for lightweight design and manufacturing of key parts such as high-speed rail head, aerospace, and automobiles/break through the barriers of overall precision forming technology for large-size complex thin-walled structures/achieve lightweight goals of more than 15% weight reduction/solve the forming problems of aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, and titanium alloys/finite element strength analysis and simulation calculation of large complex structures
The composite process of hot stamping and superplastic bulging forming is the first in China created by our R&D team. On the basis of improving the forming limit of materials, it also greatly improves production efficiency. On this basis, ordinary industrial aluminum plates are successfully used to replace the original superplastic plates, which greatly reduces production costs and provides the possibility of "military to civilian" superplastic forming technology.
This technology can fully meet the lightweight requirements of aerospace, rail transportation, automobiles and other fields. It has unique advantages in forming structures with complex structures and special shapes and external surface parts. It can effectively shorten the R&D trial production cycle, reduce equipment investment, and improve the surface quality of parts.
Since 2016, the large-size thin-walled aluminum alloy plates with complex shapes developed by our company have been widely used in the rail transit industry, providing a new solution for the design of high-speed rail head solutions. The aluminum alloy skin solution supported by rapid superplastic forming technology can achieve at least 15% weight reduction goals, with obvious advantages in lightweight and environmental protection.
At present, our company is a qualified supplier of superplastics for CRRC Sifang and Changchun Railway Vehicles. After a lot of process development and practice in the industry in recent years, it has achieved multiple process breakthroughs such as multi-deep cavity, multi-layer plate, multi-sharp edge, and multi-high rib integral forming. It has been successfully applied in projects such as Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intelligent High-speed Railway, Jinyidong Urban Vehicle, Standard 250, and 600 km Maglev, effectively reducing the number of parts, shortening assembly and welding time, and reducing the weight of the whole vehicle. It has broad application prospects in skin parts and internal structural parts.
